Lis Wiehl works as an American writer and legal analyst who previously worked as the Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct professor of Law in New York Law School and was previously an Associate Professor at the University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. The Imus morning show as well as hosts The Legal Lis radio show. Wiehl is a native of Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She has the degree of Bachelor of Arts at Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) in addition to a JD in law from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as she was a US attorney in the United States. She was the legal correspondent for NPR's All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigator's Counsel for the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. From 1995 to 2001, she served as an adjunct professor of law in the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. She was an analyst at Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
