Sharp is one of the Rochester area native who studied clarinet in the Hochstein School of Music. Sharp also played piano as well as cello. Sharp's love for theater in high school brought her to Boston Conservatory where she received an award. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp turned her attention to the stage. Sharp appeared in her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp's other theatre appearances include Abyssinia and Aida. Sharp has other ideas that she is working on alongside her projects for screen and stage. Sharp continues to sing and has a full-length album currently in the process of being recorded. Sharp loves exercise. She stays fit by training in boxing, learning Krav Maga, and taking long trips on the road. Sharp lives with her spouse and two children living in Los Angeles.
