Even though it was not permitted by her parents, Perry heard all kinds of music, which was made available to her close friends because she was born with an uncanny love for music from the beginning. Perry was a flamboyant woman who spoke out for her ambition to be a music star and pursued the dream. Her breakthrough came not easy and she had overcome numerous obstacles. She had to put many of her song on hold prior to being signed by 'Capitol Records. This was when her path as a performer was launched. The album she released next, "Teenage Dreams", which won the hearts of many fans of music and became one of the biggest albums ever. Katy Perry became a well-known artist following the release of her album. The album broke records in many ways. In addition to making music and writing lyrics, Perry is also known for her charitable work. Perry is an LGBT rights activist.
