Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. The most recognizable role she has played is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning program At This Hour. In the past, she was a co-anchor of the CNN weekday morning program New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been a part of CNN's award-winning coverage of the 2012 presidential election and 2016. She also worked in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan covered congressional and legislative events, such as the talks to raise the federal debt ceiling and the super committee's discussions. Her general assignment work has included stories regarding The Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. In 2007 she joined CNN as a national correspondent in 2007 for CNN Newsource. She worked as a CNN Newsource national correspondent, offering breaking news and reportage on feature stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. She worked for NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV. She is a mother of three in New York City.
